DOGGY FUN DAY

Summer 2007 saw us sheltering from the rain most weekends! Usually, during the summer months training takes place outdoors in a lovely venue just outside Scarborough.

But in 2007 the rain never seemed to let up - except for one weekend - our Doggy Fun Day.

And thanks to Isobel and Peter Green we had a lovely afternoon raising around £160 for Greyhounds In Need. Isobel and Peter also did us a great barbeque to round off the afternoon. One of the most popular competitions was "The Dog with the Funniest Hat".

The fun day was a combination of training, socialisation and lots of action!

Many thanks go to Pat Martindale for taking the photographs, to Janine and Peter Suggitt and to Isobel's mum for being our judges. Thanks also to Jane and Geoff Leaf for running the bric-a-brac stall, and to Anne Wilson for being our secretary for the day - and to everyone who made it a great day.

Smile! Our Judge Gill and Archie
